The founder’s Vision

In 2014, Mr Rajendra Raghuvanshi, an experienced businessman with a rich background in agricultural business, embarked on a new venture. Drawing from his extensive experience in the business industry since 1996 and his understanding of agriculture, Rajendra founded Shri Rewa Basmati Rice. His goal was to create a brand that not only produced premium basmati rice but also made a significant impact on the industry and community.

2016

Building the Foundation

Raisen District in Madhya Pradesh, a region renowned for its ideal soil conditions blessed by goddess river narmada for basmati rice cultivation. Strategic Expansion

To meet the surging demand, Shri Rewa brought Mekal Food Company to life in 2021. This strategic move effectively doubled the production capacity, allowing the company to scale up operations and reach more markets. The expanded infrastructure not only met domestic needs but also positioned Shri Rewa as a significant player in the international rice market.
